I first read it back in the days before 'right brain thinking' had become such a buzz word. The first is Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Every artists ought to have one or the other (or both) on his or her book shelf. So I'll start this list with the two best books I know on the subject.

I sometimes get requests for book recommendations from people who would simply like to learn how to draw. I have included only one e-book link in this list (Art & Fear) because book is mainly text for reading. The resolution of the images is not high enough, and you will only get frustrated. Art books in ebook form is just not a good idea at this time.
